Frequently Asked Questions
What is ParentProxy?
ParentProxy is a new Internet filtering service for parents. It focuses on making the Internet safer for young children.
How does it work?
First we block everything, next you decide which sites are acceptable for your children to use. This is called white listing. Lastly you invite your friends to join and share lists.
Why would you want to do this? Finding the good Internet sites takes time, working with your friends you have more sites for your children.
Is ParentProxy for me?
ParentProxy is for children approximately 5 to 12 years old. Currently the service needs parents who consider themselves to be tech savvy Internet users. For example if you are the kind of parent that runs Firefox and uses extensions.
ParentProxy is new, but it is completely functional. We are looking for parents like you to start using it and giving us feedback. We will take any feedback both good and bad. Your feedback will help us make a better service.

Is your service free?
